Urvii is the vision of Pritha Gupta, an ex-banker who chose to trade the fast-paced corporate world of numbers for the rhythmic, soulful clack of the handloom.
Driven by an enduring love for India’s rich textile heritage and a desire to preserve its authenticity, Pritha embarked on a journey to bring the magic of traditional weaves to the modern woman.
That journey began at the very source of the craft. Pritha traveled deep into the heart of Bengal, spending days with the master weavers of Fulia.
By immersing herself in their world, she learned the intricate language of the loom and the generational secrets behind every weave.
